WA : The 2013 Terlaner I (Primo) Grande Cuvée is the most recent release of Terlano new prestige cuvée, which is meant to evoke memories of the epic wines from the 1950s and 1960s. The 2013 certainly hits all the right notes. Intensely mineral on the outset, the 2013 possesses striking aromatics and layers of finely sculpted fruit, not to mention tremendous overall balance. All the elements fall into place in this effortless, gracious Terlano. Graphite, lemon confit, mint, sage and chamomile wrap around the succulent finish. This is a jewel of a wine from Terlano.
