Fongaro Lessini Durello Etichetta Nera Pas Dose Riserva Metodo Classico 2014
Size (Litre) : 0.75
Rating : WE 93 pts
100% Durella grapes. Volcanic soil. Occurring on its own yeasts in the bottle, the fermentation period is no less than 84 months. Remuage sûr pupitres: once the fermentation process is complete, the bottles are taken from their stacks and placed inverted in the pupitres and then turned by hand every day for about 30 days, after which they are then disgorged. Durella is an ancient and indigenous grape variety from the Veneto region. It is extremely vigorous, with a particularly thick and leathery skin, cultivated on soils rich in minerals. A variety typically found in the Lessini Mountains, it grows on the hills between the provinces of Vicenza and Verona; it is capable of creating wines with remarkable acidity due to the high content of malic acid, lending itself well to Metodo Classico sparkling wine.

Santi Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore “Solane” DOC 2019
Size (Litre) : 0.75
The name SOLANE comes from the dialect name given to the places without ceiling that contained the trellises on which the grapes were dried and that were well exposed to the sun. It’s no coincidence that in the winery’s vineyards there is a mountain with the name “Solane” reflecting the brightness of these territories.

Selvapiana Chianti Rufina Vigneto Erchi 2017
Size (Litre) : 0.75

In Selvapiana we have been looking for years for a new place to grow Sangiovese to enhance the differences of this vine in the Rufina area. In 1998 the Erchi farm was purchased, in the municipality of Pontassieve, in an area of great viticultural value, of the 15 hectares, in 1999 6 hectares were planted with Sangiovese. Impressed by the quality of Erchi’s Sangiovese and above all by the diversity compared to Selvapiana, we waited for the vineyard to ripen to bottle the first selection ….

Bucerchiale is Selvapiana’s flagship wine, a Riserva-level Chianti Rùfina crafted from the grapes of the estate’s best vineyard, Bucerchiale. Francesco Giuntini, working with young winemaker Franco Bernabei on his second vintage at Selvapiana, created this special wine to be a long-aging benchmark of the best of Rùfina’s and Selvapiana’s Sangiovese. The wine is not a blend, as is normal with Chianti, but rather is pure Sangiovese to show that variety without any adornment by other blending components. First produced in 1979, Bucerchiale is made in only the best vintages, seven or eight times per decade.
