Good full ruby. Musky red cherry, raspberry and mocha aromas on the nose are complicated by a very strong note of flint. Rich but suave and fine-grained, a distinctly elegant style of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo offering strawberry tar and mocha flavors plus underlying chocolatey richness. Finishes bright, long and broad, with a light tarry nuance.
