Aromas of wet earth and dark fruits with hints of lead pencil. Full body, with chewy tannins and a flinty, fruity aftertaste. A blend of wines made in vineyards surrounding some of the best villages of Barolo.

WE: Inky and dark, this has modern touches of toasted oak and exotic spice. Those smoky aromas will decrease with time, giving prominence to the cherry and blackberry flavors already present.

The “Essenze” is a blend of individual crus from La Volta in Barolo, Ravera in Novello, Scarrone and Montanello in Castiglione Falletto, Bussia in Monforte and Annunziata in La Morra, some of Barolo’s most famous vineyards. This is a full bodied wine, with lots of dense forward fruit, a touch of earth and classic Barolo structure and years of life ahead. It has enough fruit to enjoy now and a price that will allow you to experiment with some bottles !
