100% Nebbiolo. Nino Negri’s very famous flagship wine is made from a selection of the best grapes and only in the best years. Grapes picked by hand in the most acclaimed parcels of Valtellina Superiore, after natural drying for 3 months, are vinified by the red wine method, with a long maceration. Refreshing nose with balsamic notes of mint and eucalyptus intermingled with hints of crusty bread, liquorice root, sun-dried hay, cocoa powder, black pepper, prunes and dried figs. The richly extracted, vigorous palate exhibits vanilla aromas and pleasantly satisfying forward tannins.
