The 2015 Camalaione is another exceptional wine in this range from Luca and Valeria Orsini. Wild, powerful and deeply expressive, Camalaione has so much to say. A rush of inky black cherry, crème de cassis and floral/savory notes builds effortlessly. Although Camalaione is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah and 15% Merlot, it is first and foremost a wine of place. I would prefer to cellar it for a few years, but even in the early going, it is a very special wine
