JS 96 / VINOUS 95 / DECANTER 93 pts
Incredibly deep and complex nose with a ton of candied pineapple and citrus, plus notes of white pepper, chamomile and verveine. As concentrated as it is highly structured on the imposing, but energetic palate, that energy driving the extremely intense and focused crushed-rock and wild-herb finish. The best vintage ever of this wine! A cuvée of pinot bianco, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc with a history going back to 1893.
The Terlaner Riserva Nova Domus seduces with baked apples and pears complemented by hints of almond paste and butter cream. Its round and silky textures fill the palate with ripe orchard fruits and sweet spices, while bright acids create a juicy and high-energy expression. The balance within makes for a wholly satisfying yet also profound experience, as this tapers off long and fresh with candied citrus and striking florality. Simply stunning and in no fear of decline, any collector with the 2010 in their cellar should consider themselves very lucky.
Orchard/tropical fruit and spice nose. Weighty on the palate with moderate freshness and ample fruit concentration. Long, stony finish.
