On the imposing, full-bodied palate, licorice and pipe tobacco notes accent raspberry compote and steeped cherry framed in firm, fine-grained tannins. You’ll also notice the warmth of alcohol on the close but it’s well supported by chewy fruit. Drink 2020–2031.
