AG: The 2016 Destieux has turned out beautifully. A gorgeous, modern Saint-Émilion, Destieux offers tremendous depth and textural resonance from the outset. Dark, jammy fruit, chocolate, spice and new leather take on exotic shades of dimension. Destieux is a decidedly flamboyant Saint-Émilion endowed with superb richness and tons of sheer appeal. This is a terrific showing.

AL: Pure and floral nose, ripe blackberry, plum, cassis, fine oak, and mild spices. Very dense and concentrated palate, high extract, some roasted notes but with fine freshness, layers of crushed berries. Intense, lingering and opulent finish.
