A medium-bodied Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, with the aroma of red fruit and hints of morello cherry and delicate spicy notes. At the table it pairs well with entrées, strong flavoured pasta dishes, meat, and soft and medium-aged cheeses. 100% Montepulciano from Tollo, Giuliano Teatino, 130/150 metres, Age of vines: 15/20 years. The total dry extract (to gauge “thickness” of texture of the wine) of red wine is generally between 20 ~ 30 grams/litre. At 31 gr/litre, this wine is at the top end of range (medium body). Amarone wine is around 40 gr/litre.
